Working in a variety of levels of care throughout my career, I have a rich history of psychotherapy skills with strong advocacy and communication. I strive to be direct yet relatable, skilled yet casual. I have experience in crisis intervention and trauma and am trained in EMDR (all ages) and TF-CBT (children and adolescents). I have helped many clients with diverse concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, oppositional behaviors, conduct disorders, Autism Spectrum, schizophrenia and other psychoses, and relationship concerns.
Viewing each therapeutic relationship as a partnership,I work diligently to meet clients right where they’re at, without judgment, helping them to achieve their individual goals. I am astutely aware that relationships are based on trust, genuine compassion, and honesty. I strive to align my personal life and professional endeavors around these core standards.
I focus interactions on answering the question of “what happened to” my clients rather than “what is wrong” with them. I strive to empower my clients through a strength-based lens, helping to reframe negative experiences into sources of strength, confidence, and competence. I use empathy and discernment to encourage clients, helping them to heal, thus, building resilience to future problems.
Never one to isolate to one main theoretical orientation, I primarily approach client concerns from a meld of Cognitive-Behavioral, Existential, Person-Centered, and Trauma-Focused approaches. I can provide EMDR therapy in-person and via telehealth sessions. I am dually licensed in Wisconsin and Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My resume includes recent positions of clinical manager of two outpatient clinics in the greater Denver-Metro area and, most recently, practice manager of Psychology Associates of the Fox Cities. January 1, 2024 marked the beginning of my next leadership position by launching Molinski Counseling and Consulting Services LLC. I service people in-person and via video telehealth in the greater Fox Valley area in Wisconsin. I also provide video telehealth services to clients living in outside of the local area and in Colorado.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin in psychology and speech communication. I completed my graduate degree in professional counseling from Liberty University, which also included some doctoral level coursework in addictions and addictive behaviors.
On a personal note, I live in Appleton, WI. I spent all of my life in East Central Wisconsin before a cross-country move in August 2020 (to be nearer to family who had previously relocated) to a western suburb of Denver, Colorado.
I returned to my Wisconsin roots in June 2022, preferring the smaller urban location and the slightly slower pace of life found in the Fox Valley. I love spending time with my two adult daughters. My older daughter completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in French at Ripon College in 2020 and is currently working towards her PsyD (doctoral degree) to become a clinical psychologist at The Chicago School for Professional Psychology (expected graduation June 2028). She then plans to join this practice as Chief Clinical Officer. My younger daughter, diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. She currently engages in freelance design work and is serving as the graphic artist for Carey’s clinic.
I am hearing impaired but does not allow this to stop me from providing therapeutic services. I believe that personal struggles do not have to limit or define you. Furthermore, I believe that your past doesn’t need to define your future (but it can certainly shape it) and that there is someone in your future that needs you to successfully navigate this present. I love art and anything creative. I have known pain but have grown seeds of joy from that pain and I am eager to help you on your journey to healing and hope.

I have a passion for creating authentic and open relationships with each client I work with. I believe clients are the experts on their experiences and challenges. I work to meet them wherever they’re at to provide the best service possible. My social work background has taught me that every aspect of a person’s life impacts them and I strive to integrate the wellness of clients in each area. I believe every person is capable of being resilient and has strengths within themselves. As a clinician I hope to support clients in finding and building on those strengths with an empathetic and supportive perspective.
I believe that every person needs a slightly different approach and benefits from a combination of therapeutic techniques to meet their specific goals. I’ve taught Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Thinking For A Change, and Seeking Safety groups. I’ve seen how integrating DBT, Cognitive, and Person-Centered approaches realistically helps clients in and outside of sessions. I most recently have been a therapeutic intern and worked at a residential treatment center for court ordered youth. In that time I gained skills in crisis management and intervention, group work, and individual therapy practice.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in social work and a minor in psychology. While completing my undergraduate degree I interned at an equestrian center and was able to learn about concepts of equine therapy, furthering my passion for therapeutic work. I then went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for my graduate degree in clinical social work.
Within my personal life, I am from the Green Bay area, and although I left for my undergraduate experience I have come back to call Eastern Wisconsin my home. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as volunteering with youth. I have three older siblings and multiple nephews that bring joy and light to my life. I’m looking forward to partnering with you in your journey towards hope, health, and healing.

As a native of northeast Wisconsin, my professional career has been spent serving in the Fox River Valley region of Wisconsin. I am a married father of four amazing boys and when I’m not coaching one of them in a sporting event, I love to listen to music, watch movies, travel with my wife to somewhere tropical, or head out on an adventure road trip with the whole crew. I am passionate about my faith, my family, and helping others thrive.
I have been working professionally as a helper with individuals in need of support for the last 15 years. This has taken the form of mentor, coach, case manager, program director, and most recently as a licensed professional counselor. I consider it a privilege to come along side clients in search of the next best step and I love seeing those I work with define and achieve their goals, overcome obstacles and challenges, and discover that they are capable of more than they ever imagined. Life is full of diverse seasons that provide unique challenges for each of us. As a counselor, I find deep and lasting satisfaction in walking alongside others through the varied seasons of life, be it times of growth, struggle, transition, or healing. Each chapter presents unique challenges and triumphs, and I count it a privilege to be able to join clients in their own journeys as a steady, compassionate presence. Supporting clients as they discover resilience, clarity, and self-acceptance not only affirms the value of the counseling journey but also fosters a sense of purpose and connection. It’s in
these moments, when someone finds hope in darkness or strength in vulnerability, that I find fulfillment in this work as a counselor.
I have had the opportunity to work one on one supporting individuals, families, and groups through a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, the grief process, suicidal ideation and behaviors, relationship and family issues,
unexpected life changes, stress disorders, and traumatic events. My work within school-based mental health programs has afforded me the privilege of working with a variety of ages, abilities, and families of diverse cultural, ethnic identities, and socioeconomic statuses.
My philosophy of counseling is grounded in a person-centered, individualized approach that honors each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and potential for growth. I believe that a strong counseling relationship, built on
empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, is the foundation for meaningful change. Integrating elements of solution-focused therapy, I emphasize clients’ existing resources and future possibilities, helping them envision and work toward their preferred outcomes. At the same time, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to address maladaptive thought patterns and promote healthier cognitive and behavioral responses. By blending these modalities, my goal is to empower clients to build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s
challenges with confidence and clarity.
Be a difference maker.
